Terms of Service

Last updated: August 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Codeluz website (codeluz.com) and any services provided by Codeluz ("we," "us," or "our"). By using our website, submitting an inquiry, or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Our Services

Codeluz provides custom website design and development services, including but not limited to landing pages, business websites, booking-enabled platforms, and related digital solutions. Project scope, timelines, and pricing are agreed upon directly with each client before work begins and are not fixed by anything stated on this website.

2. Website Use

The content on this website — including demo sites, text, graphics, logos, and design — is the property of Codeluz and is provided for informational purposes only. It may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, or reused without our prior written permission.

3. Project Engagements

Any actual project undertaken with a client will be governed by a separate agreement outlining scope, payment terms, timelines, revisions, and deliverables. These website Terms of Service do not replace or override that agreement — where the two conflict, the individual project agreement takes precedence.

4. Payment

Payment terms, including deposits, milestones, and final payment, will be agreed upon with each client prior to the start of a project. Work on a project typically begins only after the agreed initial payment has been received, unless otherwise stated in the project agreement.

5. Revisions & Scope Changes

Each project includes a reasonable number of revisions as agreed upon before work begins. Requests that fall outside the original agreed scope may be treated as additional work and billed separately, with the client's agreement.

6. Ownership & Intellectual Property

Upon full and final payment for a project, ownership of the final delivered website (excluding any third-party assets, licensed tools, stock content, or frameworks used) transfers to the client. Codeluz retains the right to showcase completed projects in its own portfolio unless otherwise agreed in writing.

7. Limitation of Liability

While we build every project with care and attention, Codeluz is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our website, our services, or any delivered project. Our total liability in connection with any project is limited to the amount paid by the client for that project.

8. Termination

Either party may terminate an ongoing project engagement as outlined in the individual project agreement. In the absence of a specific termination clause, either party may terminate with written notice, and the client will be responsible for payment for work completed up to that point.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in Lahore, Pakistan, without regard to conflict of law principles, unless otherwise agreed in writing for a specific project or client.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal and operational reasons. Continued use of our website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
